Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver audit assignments for a varied and growing client portfolio, spanning a range of industries.
* Plan, execute and finalise audits, ensuring compliance and adding real value to clients.
* Work closely regularly with the Accounts team providing support when required.
* Mentor and support junior team members, playing a key part in developing future talent.
* Review financial statements and audit files, ensuring high standards and technical accuracy.
* Identify areas for improvement and provide clients with forward-thinking recommendations.
What this client is looking for:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, with solid audit experience in practice.
* A proactive, hands-on approach to audit, with a passion for delivering quality.
* Excellent knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards.
* Strong communication skills with a natural ability to build lasting client relationships.
* Confidence with audit software and Excel.
