As the new Bookkeeper, you'll benefit from one to one support from experienced professionals who pride themselves on delivering a personable, high-quality service to clients. Your role will be crafted to suit your experience and strengths, offering variety and the potential for greater responsibility as you settle in. Within this role, you can expect to get involved in, Bookkeeping, accounts preparation, VAT & Tax returns as well as daily client communications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bookkeeping duties for a range of local clients
- Assist with year-end accounts preparation, VAT, and Tax returns
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Provide support to the Payroll Director during busy periods
- Address ad hoc client queries promptly
What they're looking for:
- Experience in an accountancy practice or similar client-facing role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Xero, and Sage (Sage experience is preferred but not essential)
