As an Assistant Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the completion of Owner statements and the reconciliation of Client bank accounts, ensuring financial accuracy and consistency across the business. You'll work closely with the wider finance team, contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day processes while supporting continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports
* Processing payments and managing reconciliations
* Responding to internal and external financial queries
* Maintaining accurate financial records and data
* Supporting month-end and year-end reporting
* Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
* Providing cover and support to senior finance team members
* Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will hold an accounting qualification with a minimum of three years' post-qualification experience. You'll have exceptional attention to detail, a collaborative approach, and the ability to work confidently as part of a team. Strong communication skills are key, as you'll be working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Advanced Excel knowledge is essential, and you'll bring a proactive attitude to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
