Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
- Processing sales and purchase invoices, bank reconciliations and general ledger entries
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with Making Tax Digital requirements
- Working with cloud accounting platforms including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- Supporting the wider team with financial data where required
- Communicating with clients to obtain records and resolve queries
- Ensuring client records are accurate, organised and compliant

What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or similar finance role, ideally within practice
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and Excel
- Understanding of VAT processes and bookkeeping fundamentals
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A professional and approachable manner when dealing with clients and colleagues
