NXTGEN are supporting a major organisation undertaking a significant Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation programme and are looking to appoint an Oracle Finance Transformation Lead to play a key role in the delivery of a new enterprise-wide Finance & Payroll platform. This Oracle Finance Transformation Lead opportunity would suit someone who enjoys operating within large-scale ERP programmes, driving process improvement and working closely with senior stakeholders to shape how finance operations function long term. The successful Oracle Finance Transformation Lead will become a critical link between Finance, Payroll, operational teams and the implementation partner throughout the full transformation lifecycle.

This is a highly visible transformation programme within a complex and regulated environment, offering the opportunity to influence both system design and broader operational change rather than simply maintaining an existing finance function.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Finance & Payroll workstream within a major Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation
  • Acting as the senior functional SME across core finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Projects and Payroll
  • Working closely with implementation partners to support solution design, configuration and delivery
  • Leading "to-be" process design workshops and helping drive best-practice operating models
  • Supporting data migration, integrations, controls and reporting design
  • Overseeing testing, defect resolution and go-live readiness activities
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to manage business change and adoption
  • Supporting long-term optimisation, governance and continuous improvement of the platform

The business is looking for someone who combines strong finance process knowledge with hands-on Oracle ERP implementation experience.

Backgrounds could include:

  • Oracle Finance Consultant
  • Finance Transformation Lead
  • ERP Programme Lead
  • Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant
  • Finance Systems Implementation Manager

To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • Proven Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation experience across multiple full lifecycle projects
  • Strong understanding of finance and payroll processes within complex organisations
  • Experience within regulated or public-sector style environments
  • Exposure to finance transformation, process redesign and systems optimisation
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively where required
  • A hands-on, delivery-focused approach with strong project leadership capability

In return, the role offers the opportunity to join a genuinely business-critical transformation programme where you will have significant influence over both implementation and long-term operational success.

Day rate available up to £900 per day, depending on experience and Oracle implementation background.
