NXTGEN is pleased to be supporting a well-established Accountancy firm in Norwich as they look to add a Payroll Administrator to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with existing payroll experience, either from industry or a bureau environment, who is now looking to broaden their knowledge and gain exposure to the full payroll process.
This is a brand-new Payroll Administrator position where you’ll get the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio, supporting with all aspects of end-to-end payroll and learning from an experienced team around you. The role offers genuine variety and the chance to build your technical knowledge across areas you may not have had exposure to previously, giving you a really strong foundation to develop your payroll career.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting with the end-to-end processing of payroll for a varied portfolio of clients
- Developing your knowledge across all areas of payroll, including PAYE, pensions, statutory payments and deductions
- Assisting with payroll queries and liaising with clients to resolve issues effectively Ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and within the required deadlines
- Supporting with payroll administration and maintaining accurate client records
- Working closely with the wider payroll team and learning from more experienced members of the team
What the client is looking for:
- Previous experience working in payroll, either within an accountancy/bureau environment or in industry
- A genuine interest in developing a career within payroll and learning the full payroll process
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a confident, professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues
