NXTGEN are working in partnership with a high-growth business who continue to go from strength to strength, as they look to appoint a talented and commercially minded Finance Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organisation at a pivotal point in their journey, offering real scope for personal and professional development. The successful Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, driving performance, and helping shape the financial direction of the business as it continues its impressive growth trajectory.

This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys using data to tell a story, and wants to make a tangible impact across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyse financial, operational, and sales data to support business decisions and long-term strategy.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor margins, costs, and revenue performance across multiple divisions.
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process or margin improvement, providing recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Financial Director to deliver robust financial modelling, forecasting, and budget planning.
  • Support the development of pricing strategies and carry out detailed profitability analysis across products and services.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and reports that translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations and Sales to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Continuously review and improve data collection processes and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation.

You'll be joining a progressive organisation with an ambitious leadership team and a genuine commitment to developing its people. This is a business that encourages ideas, rewards innovation, and provides a platform for individuals to grow as the company continues to expand.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to bring a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and advanced Excel knowledge with experience in building financial models. A solid understanding of financial principles, cost accounting, and margin analysis will be key, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You'll also need to be a confident communicator, comfortable presenting insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, and have a proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a drive to identify and deliver improvements that add real value.
