Key Responsibilities:
- Processing end to end payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assisting with payroll queries and statutory deductions, including PAYE and pensions
- Building strong client relationships and providing excellent service
- Working with the wider team to help improve processes and efficiencies
What the client is looking for:
- Some experience in payroll processing, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau
- Familiarity with payroll software such as Sage Payroll or Xero Payroll
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues
- A proactive, adaptable mindset and willingness to learn and grow within the firm
