This is a position sitting within a major UK infrastructure programme, offering the chance to work across complex, high-value commercial and construction matters. As Legal Counsel, you'll be embedded within a collaborative legal team, working closely with senior stakeholders and playing a key role in shaping contractual outcomes across a wide-ranging and evolving project.
This isn't a narrow in-house role you'll be involved in everything from drafting and negotiation through to advising on risk, disputes and procurement strategy, all within a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
The Role
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial and construction contracts
- Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders
- Supporting on complex, high-value agreements across infrastructure and supply chain
- Assisting with contractual claims, disputes and resolution strategies
- Managing external legal counsel where required, including cost and performance oversight
- Contributing to reports and briefings for senior decision-makers
What They're Looking For
- UK qualified Solicitor with circa 1-3 years' PQE
- Background in commercial and/or construction law
- Experience gained in-house or within private practice
- Strong drafting skills and confidence working with complex agreements
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across different levels
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities

Location & Contract
