NXTGEN are partnering with a well respected accountancy practice to recruit an Accounts Assistant as part of their continued growth. With an expanding client base and ambitious plans for the future, the firm is looking to welcome someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working closely with clients, and wants to be part of a team where hard work and development are recognised.

The Role:
- Preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Completing VAT returns and supporting clients with bookkeeping requirements
- Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax computations
- Building strong relationships with clients and providing day to day support
- Working alongside senior members of the team on accounts preparation and additional client projects
About You:
- Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- AAT qualified, studying towards AAT, ACCA or ACA, or qualified through experience
- Good knowledge of cloud accounting software, including Xero
- Strong communication skills with a client focused approach
- A motivated individual who is keen to continue learning and progressing within practice
